Without the tools of labor without demands of time
I've built a magic castle in the shadows of my mind
I placed each stone and pebble where I wanted it to be
And I put my magic castle on a hilltop by the sea
No moat surrounds my castle I fear not for its fate
No dungeons in my castle and no locks upon its gates
I've encircled it with forests as envisioned in my dreams
And flowers grace its gardens by quiet running streams
Its walls within hold paintings from every master's hand
which bestow my castle secrets sought by every mortal man
Its chambers carefully furnished with a dreamer's magic touch
With old and new and simple things and oddities and such
I wander through its forests and lay beside its streams
I marvel in its splendor but only in my dreams
So close your eyes in troubled times and travel there with me
To my mystic magic castle on a hilltop by the sea
